The Darkside Rangers execute a Presidential order declaring governance over Freedom Machine's Thunder Mountain headquarters. Forced to vacate, the Freedom Machine seeks out Fort Silence to confront Daedalus. Upon landing, Dynasty finds Tangaroa's grave. Daedalus freed the four most powerful villains from their prisons within Fort Silence and transports them off the isle. He then decimates Tangaroa's undersea city and all its inhabitants. Dr. Odd contacts Freedom base and leaves a message with the perplexed Darkside Rangers, that his team has chosen to side with Daedalus.
