"Double Reverse"; Betty tries reverse psychology to attract Archie's attention. "Line's Busy!" one-page Li'l Jinx story. "Putt Problems"; Betty can't help annoying Archie when he's playing golf against Reggie, but eventually she helps him win. "Water Rights," Veronica is angry at Archie and then at her father because he invites Archie to swim at the Lodge pool. "Four on the Isle"; Betty and Reggie follow Archie and Veronica to an island, and the resulting argument ends with everyone angry with everyone else. "The Strike Out," Betty decides to take up baseball when the boys start ignoring the girls during the season. "Give and Take," Veronica tries to trick Betty into believing that Betty's new bathing suit is out of style, but Mr. Lodge turns the tables on his daughter. "Punch Line" one-page Li'l Jinx story. "The Actress"; When Betty announces that she wants to become an actress, Veronica says that she can prove it by pretending that she doesn't like Archie.
