"The Protector," Trying to prove that he's not just a "delinquent brownie," Jingles tells Betty and Veronica that he will protect them from all harm. "If the Shoe Fits" one-page Li'l Jinx story. "Merry Misery," Veronica becomes sick of the conformist Christmas spirit, and along with Reggie, she hatches a plan to prove that greed is stronger than sickening sweetness. "The Show Up," Veronica decides to get Betty a very expensive gift to make her gift look even cheaper by comparison. "No Waiting," Veronica gets a package and refuses to wait until Christmas to open it. "Takes Up Light Housekeeping, or, His Business Went On the Rocks," Archie goes up in a plane to help deliver supplies to the lighthouse keepers on Mr. Lodge's property. "The Archie Doll," Veronica literally gives Archie to Betty for Christmas as a "real live Archie doll."
