On the first day of school, first Veronica and then Betty is propositioned by a handsome new student. Betty's enthusiastic descriptions of her summer travels to the countryside outside of Riverdale makes Veronica envious that she was only able to travel to Hawaii and Switzerland. Betty and Veronica get a talk show on cable access television, but start dishing a little too much gossip than their friends are comfortable with. Veronica tells Betty and Ethel stories about the entrepreneurial spirit that runs through her family history.
