The Fringe Preview Comic (officially titled "Fringe 2008 Convention Exclusive") is the prequel to the six-part FRINGE comic book series from WildStorm Productions. It was distributed as a freebie at the San Diego Comic-Con convention in July 2008. It was also released digitally through Comixology in June 2010. Being that the comic book series itself has been advertised as being a prequel, this preview comic can be considered a "prequel to the prequel." The issue also contains full-page photos of the main characters of the TV series, along with vital information for each. In the prequel, strange events are occurring. Someone is experimenting with science on the fringes of imagination with the entire globe as his testing medium.
